Cohiba is expanding its portfolio with the launch of Rubicon, a new full-time line set to begin shipping in August 2025. Produced at the HATSA factory in Danlí, Honduras, Rubicon represents what the brand describes as an intentional evolution of its blending style.
The blend incorporates six tobaccos from five different regions: an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a U.S. Broadleaf binder, and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua’s Estelí region, and two areas in Honduras—La Entrada and Jamastran. The result is a medium-bodied profile designed to emphasize complexity and balance.
“Rubicon gave us the opportunity to offer a cigar without boundaries,” said Sean Williams, Cohiba Brand Ambassador. “The blend was thoughtfully created with intention. The result is a cigar that bridges tradition with a more modern expression of complexity. It rewards a practiced palate while remaining accessible to emerging enthusiasts.”
Cohiba Rubicon will be offered in three sizes:
- Box-Pressed Robusto (5.5 x 55) – MSRP $8.49
- Toro (6 x 54) – MSRP $8.99
- Gigante (6 x 60) – MSRP $9.49
Each format will be packaged in 20-count boxes.
