Daniel Marshall Changes German Distributors

Daniel Marshall has a new German distributor, but it’s not a new relationship.

The California-based company, known for its humidors and cigars, is the latest to switch from Kopp Tobaccos to M. K. & Söhne. Like others—most notably, Ashton and Rocky Patel—Daniel Marshall was part of Kohlase & Kopp, Germany’s largest distributor.

A few years ago, the two name partners of that company decided to go their separate ways with the Kopp family retaining the existing company, which was rebranded to Kopp Tobaccos. Daniel and Adam Kohlhase, two brothers, left the company and, after a year away, announced their new company: M. K. & Söhne. Since then, M. K. & Söhne has attracted more than a handful of previous Kohlhase & Kopp clients.

According to a press release, M. K. & Söhne will offer the Daniell Marshall Red Label line, as well as the 24kt Gold Torpedo, a cigar that has edible gold foil placed ontop of the wrapper.
