At next month’s InterTabac 2025, Casdagli will showcase a new limited edition vitola in the company’s Villa Casdagli line.
The Villa Casdagli Edición Limitada is a 7 1/3 x 57 salomon vitola made with an Ecuadorian HVA wrapper covering an Ecuadorian habano 2000 binder and a filler blend that includes tobaccos grown in the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Nicaragua and Peru. The cigars are made at the Tabacos de Costa Rica factory located in Costa Rica.
Each cigar will have an MSRP of $20 and be packaged in 10-count boxes. A total of 600 boxes will be released annually.
The new cigar was created to commemorate Casdagli’s two Cigar Trophy awards, which are voted on by Cigar Journal’s readers and given out by the magazine to companies during a ceremony every year. Casdagli’s Villa Casdagli line won the award for Best Boutique Brand Costa Rica in 2023 and the Best Brand Other Countries award in 2024.
Casdagli debuted the Villa Casdagli line with four vitolas in 2021. The cigar is named after the Cairo home of Emmanuel Casdagli, a Greek businessman who began the family’s cotton business in the late 19th century.
The Villa Casdagli Edición Limitada will be showcased at the InterTabac 2025 trade fair, which will take place Sept. 18-20 in Dortmund, Germany. After the trade show, boxes are scheduled to ship to retailers in late September.
