Paul Stulac Cigars will be ringing in the new year with the full release of a new line called Blue Lightning Sky.
The line features a blend of an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler. The cigars are made at the Las Villas Cigars factory, with the production overseen by Guillermo Peña. It will be offered in the same four sizes as the Red Screaming Sun and White Blinding Light:
- Paul Stulac Blue Lightning Sky Robusto (5 x 54)
- Paul Stulac Blue Lightning Sky Torpedo (6 x 54)
- Paul Stulac Blue Lightning Sky Toro (6 x 52)
- Paul Stulac Blue Lightning Sky Lancero (7 x 38)
All four sizes will be available in 25-count boxes, featuring a corresponding blue color scheme. As for pricing, Stulac told halfwheel that he estimates they’ll be around the $10 mark, but he has not finalized pricing yet as he is still working through the recent cost increases associated with cigar making.
While the full release is slated for January, the line received a soft launch over the summer, with a 6 x 52 toro called the Katman Edition, named for Philip “Katman” Kohn, a cigar blogger. It debuted in late July with 120 bundles of 10 cigars, followed by a second release in late September of 150 additional bundles.
