Readers Choice Awards 2025: Nominations Open

December is here and that means it’s time for lots of Top __ Cigars of 2025 lists.

As per usual, halfwheel’s Top 25 and The Consensus will be published in January as part of our Awards Week 2025, however, we are also once again letting you submit your nomination for your favorite cigar of 2025. For now, we are just asking for nominations; later this month, we’ll open final voting for you to vote on the finalists based on the cigars that receive the most nominations.

I cannot stress this enough: ONLY SUBMIT THE NAME OF ONE CIGAR. 
If you only submit the name of a company or a factory; your nomination will be excluded. If you submit the names of multiple cigars, companies, factories, cigar blogs, etc; your nomination will also be excluded. You don’t need to pick a single size, but you do, at the very least, need to pick a line. If the line is offered in multiple wrapper options, please specify which one.

Some details:

• Feel free to answer this question however you’d like. The best cigar, your favorite cigar, the cigar you smoked the most of, etc. However, please nominate one cigar.
• Anyone can participate. Whether you are a consumer or a brand owner, whether you read this website daily or have no idea what this is and just got sent here via Facebook, go for it.
• Nominations are open between Dec. 2-22, 2025.
• Final voting will take place Dec. 29, 2025-Jan. 9, 2026.
• You don’t need to participate in both the nominations and voting.
• Please only nominate once. I will be filtering out multiple votes from the same IP address.
