La Flor Dominicana and Tobacconist of Greenwich Team Up for Rare Finds Debut

The Tobacconist of Greenwich and La Flor Dominicana (LFD) have announced a new partnership built around limited-production projects and a curated event experience. The collaboration introduces the first installment of the LFD Rare Finds Collection, paired with an event titled From Maverick to Master scheduled for February 11, 2026.

The evening will highlight the career arc of LFD co-founder Litto Gomez, whose influence on Dominican cigar making spans decades. “La Flor Dominicana has always been a story of passion—of following instinct, honoring tradition, and creating with heart,” Gomez said. He noted that the Rare Finds project reflects “trust, friendship, and the desire to create something truly extraordinary.”

Michael Cafagno, owner and CEO of The Tobacconist of Greenwich, said the event is meant to recognize Gomez’s creative approach to cigar making. “Litto Gomez is a true original—fearless, imaginative, and fiercely dedicated to the craft,” Cafagno said.

The Releases

Two small-batch offerings make up the initial Rare Finds release:

Rare Finds Paso Fino (500 boxes)
A 15-count collection containing ten 52×6 Paso Fino cigars and five 55×7 Paso Largo Perfectos. The cigars feature Dominican tobacco from LFD’s La Canela farm and an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper. The profile is described as medium-to-full, with a size that draws inspiration from the shape of the Andalusian Bull. Boxes are priced at $495.

Rare Finds Papi Chulo (25 boxes)
A 20-count white box release of Paso Fino “Papi Chulo” Perfectos using a separate blend from the black-box Paso Fino. Only 25 boxes exist worldwide, each priced at $1,000.

Both collections—along with event access—will be sold exclusively through The Tobacconist of Greenwich.

Dylan Austin, President/COO of the retailer, emphasized that the project is rooted as much in relationships as it is in rare cigars. “Our gratitude extends to every member of the LFD community and to the collectors whose enthusiasm inspires what we do,” Austin said.
