The Supreme Leaf line has been offered in a 6 x 50 toro, a 6 x 52 toro, a 6 x 54 toro and a 6 x 56 toro. So you’d be remiss if you don’t understand how AGANORSA Leaf can introduce another new Supreme Leaf in a toro size.
In February, the company plans to ship the Supreme Leaf Toro 109, which measures 6 x 52. As the name implies, it uses a 109-style cap, which is a hybrid cap that combines the rounded finish of a parejo and a pointed tip like a belicoso. Blend-wise, the Supreme Leaf uses entirely Nicaraguan tobaccos, described as corojo 99 dominant. The line is made at the company’s factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Each cigar will have an MSRP of $13.99 per cigar and it comes in boxes of 10. The Supreme Leaf line is a limited production line. Historically, AGANORSA Leaf will create a new vitola, offer it for sale in a limited quantity. Once that vitola is sold out, retailers and consumers have to wait for a new vitola to be announced and go on sale.
“The Toro 109 allows the Supreme Leaf blend to shine in a fresh way,” said Terence Reilly, vp of sales and marketing for AGANORSA Leaf, in a press release. “The tapered ‘109- style’ head concentrates the flavors at the start while the 52-ring gauge provides a rich, dense smoke that Supreme Leaf fans will instantly recognize. We think this vitola captures the essence of Aganorsa’s signature flavor profile while offering something new and exciting in a classic Cuban Size.”
