Alec Bradley is set to introduce the Kintsugi Wabi Sabi, a limited-edition cigar inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of finding beauty in imperfection. The new release follows the original Kintsugi line and is scheduled to begin shipping on August 4, 2025.
Blended by AJ Fernandez in Estelí, Nicaragua, the Kintsugi Wabi Sabi features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Mexican binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigar is designed to highlight the natural variation in its tobaccos, resulting in what the company describes as a medium to medium-plus smoking experience.
“This blend is about appreciating the real,” said Bradley Rubin, Brand Ambassador for Alec Bradley. “Wabi Sabi isn’t about flaws, it’s about honoring the character of the materials and the story they tell. We didn’t set out to chase perfection. We set out to create a cigar with soul, and what we found was something greater than the sum of its parts.”
The Kintsugi Wabi Sabi will be released exclusively in a 6 x 52 Toro vitola, packaged in boxes of 16. Only 1,500 boxes have been produced, with a suggested retail price of $12.49 per cigar.
