The Boutique Cigar Association of America (BCA) is preparing to launch its first sampler pack this November, marking the start of a quarterly series focused on spotlighting small, family-owned cigar brands. The initial sampler will be available November 1, 2025, and includes five Toro-sized cigars selected from current and former BCA member companies.
This program is part of a new direction for the organization, which recently voted to eliminate membership dues. Instead, the sampler initiative will help support the BCA’s operational, educational, and advocacy efforts, while also giving boutique manufacturers a platform to reach more consumers.
“Our mission is simple, to help launch quality boutique cigars into the marketplace and to make sure every cigar bearing the BCA name meets the highest standards of excellence,” said Armen Caprielian of the Boutique Cigar Association. “Each blend will be carefully vetted by a dedicated tasting panel to ensure we deliver only the finest offerings to consumers and retailers alike.”
Only 100 packs will be available in this first soft release. Each sampler is priced at $45 and includes free shipping for subscribers. According to the association, more than 90% of proceeds will go to participating brand owners after shipping costs, with the remainder supporting BCA administration and industry advocacy work.
Orders can be placed through Boutique Smoke, and future editions will continue rotating in new boutique brands as part of the quarterly series.
