Casa Carrillo has announced the launch of La Historia Silk, a new addition to the Perez-Carrillo portfolio shaped by the perspectives of women throughout the cigar industry. Retailers, smokers, and industry leaders all contributed to the conversations that inspired the project.
Silk is offered exclusively in a 6 x 52 Toro size and represents the first round-format Perez-Carrillo release in the U.S. It also carries special significance as the debut cigar to display the new Casa Carrillo branding on its packaging and foot band.
The blend features an Ecuador Habano wrapper from Quevedo, aged for 18 months, with a Nicaraguan Estelí binder. The filler combines tobaccos from Estelí, Dominican La Canela, Mexican San Andrés, and Philadelphia Broadleaf, along with the rare addition of Dominican Pelo de Oro.
“Silk was born from listening,” said Lissette Perez-Carrillo, Co-Owner of Casa Carrillo. “It reflects the stories, experiences, and insights of women in our industry, while being crafted for all cigar lovers. Having it be the first release to carry the Casa Carrillo name on its foot band makes it even more meaningful—it’s a symbol of our evolution and the future we’re building.”
Production will be limited, with 1,500 boxes of 10 cigars included in the first run. Shipments begin next week, with cigars priced at $16.50 each.
