Developed by Crowned Heads & OZ Family Cigar VP of Sales Miguel M. Schoedel and Brigham Premium Cigar Category Manager Richard Joseph, the Moose Kick continues to celebrate Canada’s national identity through its design and distribution. The 2025 edition updates the familiar band art with a new red stripe in place of last year’s green, while maintaining the imagery inspired by classic Canadian postage stamps featuring the moose.
The project’s name remains a playful reference to Crowned Heads’ U.S.-market series Four Kicks Mule Kick, an annual limited release. “We saw Moose Kick as a fun and meaningful way to recognize Crowned Heads’ loyal following in Canada,” said Schoedel.
This year’s Moose Kick measures 4 7/8 x 52 and features a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. Production once again takes place at DHatuey in Estelí, Nicaragua, with distribution handled by Brigham Enterprises. The cigars will be packaged in 10-count bundles with a total of 5,000 cigars produced.
Crowned Heads, based in Nashville, Tennessee, was founded in 2011 by Tim Ozgener, Mike Conder, and Jon Huber. Toronto-based Brigham Enterprises has been the official distributor of Crowned Heads cigars in Canada since 2018.
