Chaveta S.A., which operates both a retail store and cigar line under the name EGM Cigars, has announced that it will release its newest line in early October.
It’s called the EGM Empyrean, a three-vitola line made at an undisclosed factory in the Dominican Republic using what the company says are aged tobaccos from the Cibao Valley in the Dominican Republic.
- EGM Empyrean Heraldos (5 1/8 x 55) — $59.53 (Box of 10, $595.30)
- EGM Empyrean Praxedes (5 7/10 x 57) — $68.36 (Box of 10, $683.60)
- EGM Empyrean Paraisos (6 11/16 x 62) — $64.63 (Box of 10, $646.30)
EGM is hosting a launch party in London on Oct. 2 and says the cigars will be available in the U.K. beginning that week. The company says it has distribution in 22 countries and recently opened an office in Miami ahead of planned expansion in the U.S.
The name is an ancient concept of an upper heaven, occupied by fire.
