Later this month, New Hampshire-based Two Guys Smoke Shop will be the first retailer in the country to sell the newest vitola in Casa Carrillo’s Perez-Carrillo Endure line.
The Perez-Carrillo Endure Corona Gorda is a box-pressed 6 x 46 parejo made with a Cameroon wrapper sourced from the Meerapfel family, covering a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler blend. The cigars are made at the Casa Carrillo factory in the Dominican Republic.
Each cigar has an MSRP of $18.29, with 10-count boxes priced at $159.99. A press release from Two Guys Smoke Shop describes that quantities are limited, though Casa Carrillo has not confirmed whether this is a limited release.
The Endure line debuted late last year with two box-pressed vitolas, a 5 x 50 robusto and a 6 x 52 toro. Both of those vitolas are regular production releases.
Two Guys Smoke Shop says this cigar is launching at events as part of the retailer’s 40th anniversary celebrations. Earlier this month, the company began selling exclusive 40th anniversary cigars from Padrón and Perdomo.
Boxes of the Casa Carrillo Endure Corona Gorda are scheduled to be released on Aug. 28 at all three Two Guys Smoke Shop locations and on the retailer’s website. Casa Carrillo told halfwheel that it has not determined when the shipments will go other stores.
