Powstanie Cigars has announced the latest release in its War Bear series—the 2025 War Bear of Mass Destruction. The cigar brings back the Wojtek-inspired theme while introducing new packaging and a revised size for the annual limited edition.
This year’s War Bear arrives in a 5 7/8″ x 60 perfecto format, packed in boxes of eight cigars. Production has been limited to 1,000 boxes, with an MSRP of $200 per box ($25 per cigar).
The blend maintains the barber pole-style wrapper seen in previous War Bear releases: Ecuadorian Habano and Mexican San Andrés, with what the company describes as a slight adjustment to accommodate the larger format. The interior blend features an Indonesian binder and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
Packaging is a major part of the 2025 release. Each box comes inside a custom camo-painted metal sleeve featuring a cutout Powstanie logo. The sleeve is designed to be mounted to a wall, giving the cigar presentation a collectible, display-ready element that the company says ties into the War Bear’s military theme.
Powstanie Cigars is beginning to ship PCA orders this week, prioritizing retailers who placed orders at this year’s trade show.
