Raíces Cubanas has announced a new addition to its portfolio with the launch of the 1941 Nuevo Comienzo, a line created as both a tribute and a reset point for the long-running 1941 series. The name reflects two inspirations: “1941” acknowledges the birth year of factory founders Romay and Maria, while “Nuevo Comienzo” (New Beginning) signals a fresh chapter for the brand.
The cigar is positioned as a medium- to full-bodied blend that aims to carry forward the character associated with the Raíces Cubanas factory while introducing a more modern interpretation. The company describes the profile as balanced and layered, leaning on the craftsmanship that helped define the factory’s reputation.
The 1941 Nuevo Comienzo will debut in three sizes:
- Robusto (5 x 52) — MSRP $12.85
- Gran Toro (6 x 54) — MSRP $13.95
- Gordo (6 x 60) — MSRP $14.95
All three vitolas come in 18-count boxes.
