Warped Cigars has announced the release of Corto Maduro, the latest addition to the company’s long-standing Corto line, which first debuted in 2015. The new release marks the first time the Corto series will feature a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, paired with 100% Nicaraguan fillers, including a “generous portion” of medio tiempo tobacco (a high-priming offshoot found on a small percentage of a tobacco yield, being more potent than the conventional ligero classification).
The initial size, the X46 (4½” x 46 petit corona gorda), comes box-pressed and packaged in 20-count boxes. Production is handled at the NACSA (Nicaraguan American Cigars S.A.) factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. According to Warped, additional sizes are expected to roll out later this year and continue into early 2026.
Corto Maduro is positioned as a full-bodied cigar with a flavor profile described as showcasing chocolate, black cherry, leather, oak, and black pepper.
