In an Instagram post, Warped Cigars announced the newest vitola in the company’s Isla del Cocodrilo line will be a 4 1/2 x 45 box-pressed petite torpedo vitola named Croc Bites.
If the blend is the same as the original sizes in the line, it will be made up of an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, dual Ecuadorian habano 2000 and Brazilian Arapiraca binders, and fillers from Nicaragua. The blend is produced at TABACALERA LA iSLA in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
An email sent to the company asking for additional information was not returned.
The Isla del Cocodrilo line gets its name from a term used to reference the shape of Cuba, and it debuted with two vitolas during the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show.
A 6 1/2 x 54 toro grande vitola was shown off at the InterTabac 2025 trade fair last month, but that size is a release being sent to non-U.S. markets. The blend was also modified to include some Peruvian pelo de oro in the filler to contribute sweetness to the profile.
