Concealed Carry Second Edition Debuting This Month with Fidel

In November 2025, what was billed as the final installment in the Concealed Carry line was released. Concealed Carry is a project by Omar de Frias of Fratello Cigars, which was designed to release to release “limited one-time production blends that have been curated and selected from undisclosed factories in the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragua.”

Turns out, there’s another round. The Concealed Carry Second Edition is a six-installment line that is centered around the Cuban Embargo, with the first cigar named after the leader of the Cuban Revolution and former prime minister and president of Cuba, Fidel Castro.

The Concealed Carry II: The Cuban Embargo — Fidel is a 5 1/2 x 54 robusto, and once again, the blend remains entirely undisclosed, as does the factory producing the cigar. What has been disclosed is that 425 boxes of 12 cigars have been produced, and pricing is set at $10 per cigar and $120 per box.

A press release said that each of the six installments will examine a figure, event, or archival theme connected to the era, and collectively will form a broader narrative around the U.S. trade embargo on Cuba and its lasting influence on the cigar industry.

The first release, Fidel, is designed to introduce the dossier concept that connects the six releases, while also establishing the collection’s historical framework and visual identity.

“Concealed Carry was created to remove preconceptions and let the tobacco tell a story of intrigue and craftsmanship,” said Omar de Frias, creator of Concealed Carry, in a press release. “With ‘The Cuban Embargo’, we are pulling back the curtain on a historical moment that forever reshaped our industry. ‘Fidel’ is just the beginning of a six-part journey that will take collectors deep into the secret history of 1962.”

The cigars started shipping to stores last week.
