Drew Estate Ships Four-Pack Petacas for Six Liga Privada Cigars

A new portable packaging option for six different Liga Privada cigars is on the way to retailers.

The cardboard four-packs draw from three of the Liga Privada blends, with two sizes offered in each:

Liga Privada No. 9 Toro Petaca (6 x 52) — Pack of 4, $75.40
Liga Privada No. 9 Robusto Petaca (5 x 54) — Pack of 4, $71.40
Liga Privada T52 Toro Petaca (6 x 52) — Pack of 4, $75.40
Liga Privada T52 Robusto Petaca (5 x 54) — Pack of 4, $71.40
Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo Toro Petaca (6 x 52) — Pack of 4, $75.40
Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo Robusto Petaca (5 x 54) — Pack of 4, $71.40

The new packaging format is being limited to Drew Diplomat retailers as a way to support brick-and-mortar partners who uphold the culture and experience of premium cigar retail. Drew Estate says that the “grab-n-go format delivers the same depth, construction, and character of Liga Privada in an accessible presentation — without compromise.”

I have worn many hats in my life up to this point: I started out as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, then transitioned to photographing weddings—both internationally and in the U.S.—for more than a decade. After realizing that there was a need for a cigar website containing better photographs and more in-depth information about each release, I founded my first cigar blog, SmokingStogie, in 2008. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars, and it was one of the predecessors to halfwheel, which I co-founded.
