Espinosa Cigars has added longtime cigar industry veteran Laura Barlau to its team, naming her Vice President of Key Accounts and Special Projects.
Barlau has worked in the tobacco and cigar industry since 2007, with experience in cigar purchasing, vendor relations, and retail partnerships. In her new position with Espinosa, she will work primarily with online retailers and distributors, while also overseeing private-label projects and contract manufacturing.
“We’re very happy to have Laura join an already solid team. She brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, along with a fresh energy that will serve our partners and our company well,” said Erik Espinosa, President of Espinosa Cigars.
Barlau also commented on joining the company.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Espinosa team! Erik’s vision and perseverance have positioned the company for great things, and I’m honored that the crew is putting their trust in me to be a part of this exciting future,” said Barlau.
The move gives Espinosa another experienced industry member focused on the company’s retail and distribution relationships, along with its growing private-label and contract manufacturing business.
