Plasencia Cigars will introduce an updated brand identity at the 2026 PCA Trade Show, marking a shift in how the company presents its long-standing focus on tobacco farming and production.
The family-owned company, which traces its tobacco-growing history back to 1865, says the updated look is meant to better reflect its approach to cultivating, processing, and producing cigars. The new identity centers on a tobacco leaf contained within a hexagon, a design meant to connect natural elements with structure and craftsmanship.

While the visual update is new, the company says its underlying philosophy remains unchanged. Plasencia continues to emphasize its vertically integrated model, handling everything from farming to finished cigars, along with a continued focus on agricultural practices tied closely to the land.
That approach includes the development of Plasencia Reserva Original, a line made entirely from certified organic tobacco. According to the company, this commitment to organic farming has been part of its process for decades.
“Since 1865, every generation of Plasencia has inherited the same mandate: make it better. This identity makes visible what has always been true: that great tobacco starts with great soil, and that what we pass down matters as much as what we make today”, said Néstor Andrés Plasencia.
The updated branding will begin rolling out in Winter 2026 across the company’s packaging and marketing materials, with a gradual implementation planned throughout the year.
Plasencia will showcase the new identity during PCA 2026 in New Orleans.
